A leader in liberal arts education

Franklin College has been a leader in liberal arts education since it was founded in 1834. Then, in 1842, Franklin became the first college in Indiana to become coeducational with the admission of women, and that spirit of inclusiveness still characterizes the college today.

Virtual Tour & Campus Map

Welcome home, future Grizzlies.

Our campus spans 207 acres, including athletic fields and a 31-acre biology woodland. Because Franklin is close to Indianapolis, its residents enjoy easy access to the resources offered by a large city, but they can also enjoy the charm and small-town atmosphere of Franklin itself, which has a population of more than 25,000. Take some time to explore our inviting campus, which beckons you to prepare for today’s global professions and those of the future.

I Found My Future

Watch as faculty and students talk about the experiences that make Franklin College a special place to set the course for your future.

“I love how I can make my experience at Franklin exactly what I want it to be. I wouldn’t have gotten those opportunities at other schools, both academically and socially. I’m having fun being involved.”
